Hello everyone, welcome to my channel!
I'm Miranda and I live near to Abergavenny, so that is my most local station. It maybe small and quiet, but it has a charm to it, and quite regularly some interesting trains come through there.
My favourite station in Wales is Newport, because it's a very busy station full of variety, and freight!
My favourite fast station in Wales is Severn Tunnel Junction, even though it has changed drastically and now under wires, it still provides variety in passenger and freight traffic.
Favourite trains are as follows:
HST's, class 66's, 158's, 60's, 70's, 800/802 IET, Turbos and many more, but in no particular order.
Least favourites are definitely Pacers!
I am also into aeroplanes, and I have got quite a few aeroplane videos on my channel so do check those out too!

DB Cargo 60096 powering through Tamworth with a long tanker train 27.8.10
After 66171 came clagging through platform 4, along came another freight train. This time, we have a class 60 powering through platform 3 with a northbound tank train, and quite a long one too! I know, I love 66's but 60's are made for hauling trains like this, much more powerful than a 66.

Here we have LMS steam locomotive 46100 Royal Scot leading the return leg of the Welsh Marches Express under the headcode 1Z23. Filmed today at my local station, here we see double headed WCRC 47's nos 804 and 802 lead steam loco Black 5 44871 through platform 2 on an ECS move running 15 minutes late. A single clip from my fantastic visit to Tamworth back in 2010, filmed almost 10 years ago! This clip features a fast CrossCountry class 220 Voyager speeding through platform 3 heading to Newcastle. I could hear the wheel flats from quite a distance away from the station, that must be uncomfortable for the passengers I should think!

This was the main event, and in rainy weather. This was the freight working I have been longing to film for quite a while, this is 6M86 from Margam to Dee Marsh hauled by DB Cargo 66085. The station was crowded as there was also a steam locomotive movement coming through after the freight. The video on that will be on the way soon! Filmed back in Feb 2019 on the day of Wales vs England rugby match at Cardiff. Here we see DB Cargo 66165 working 6H26 Llanwern - Margam and GWR 158953 bowling (did I say bowl too many times here?) my shot heading to Cardiff Central from Portsmouth Harbour. Pretty unlucky huh?

Filmed back in 2017, here we see GWR 158952 pass platform 3 at Severn Tunnel working a service from Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central, with a nice cheerful 2tone, thanks driver! I really loved the Local Lines livery, and I'm really missing it :(

On the very same day as the hellfire class 70 previously oploaded, (clip will be on a card) I cop my first IET! My my, it seems ages ago when they've been introduced on our railway, and the HST's were still dominating the GWML (in a good way!) The IET formed of 800005 & 006 were working a Swansea service from London Paddington while 158950 was working a Taunton service.
